A historical puzzle game for the streets of Hvidovre.


Create a puzzle game for families with children that would communicate the history of Hvidovre in an engaging way.

Learn about the history of Hvidovre and show the players that they are active contributors to its development.


We were inspired by the escape rooms and  choose your own adventure books. We used elements of buildings, gates and signs in order to create site specific puzzles. The player has to, therefore, be at the specific location in order to solve the puzzle. The storytelling aspect of being able to choose your own path in the story created a strong experience of being able to change the history. This gives the player the possibility to understand and reflect on their role in the history and how it is affected by them.
